Thoughts on Bullying

Students in Mrs. Green's class were asked to write down some of their thoughts about bullying. Here are some of the responses:

Bullying

My name is Hunter Newton I know being bullied is not a fun thing but a good way to stop it is to just be nice to the bully because most bully’s have a bad home life. You also need to tell someone that your getting bullied.
Also if you see someone getting bullied it’s your job to tell someone about IT because people being bullied my not tell someone.

I am an eighth grade student at North Stanly middle school. I am here to explain a way to avoid being bullied. As bad as it sounds there is no way to cure bullying. But you can do some things to stop it for you.
Ø  If it happens one time just let it go.

Ø  If it keeps happening then tell a teacher.

Ø  If you tell a teacher you might get made fun of for telling but Its better than getting bullied.

Ø  Don’t hit the kid or you and him will get in trouble.

Ø  You can always try to avoid him don’t go anywhere near him.

Ø  If you are in a class with him tell the teacher you and him have some issues and he/she will move you.

Ø  If it gets to bad ask the school to move you to a different class.

There are a lot of other ways. The best thing you could do is just avoid the bully. Always make it look like you are not scared. Bullies won’t bully you if they know you are not scared. Trust me I was a bully when I was in elementary school. I was a bully in middle school until I got bullied. Of course I hit him and he quit but I now know what it feels like to be bullied. It’s not a good idea and it’s not fun so I don’t do it anymore. Just stay away from him or them as much as you can. Always stand up for yourself until it gets to a certain point.

If you are bulled, just walk away to a teacher, when you walk away don’t look back or say anything.
